Designer Profile

Sunray Sportswear

Designed in Newquay, Cornwall in England by Colin Campbell, Sunray Sportswear bases their brand on thoughtful sustainability and 50s inspired looks. Sunray Sportswear creations are inspired by a 1950’s vintage beach style, with a comfortable relaxed fit, while maintaining a stylish aesthetic. Their logo-less and seamless garments, reminiscent of vintage seafront attire, are perfect for refreshing basics.

Crafted in Japan, in a family run facility dating back three generations, their garments are knit on a vintage loopwheel machine, from Japanese Ochiwata Recycled Cotton. This antique analogue process is only able to produce 1m of fabric per hour, drawing in air to lay between each layer. These practices make their garments high quality and long lasting, helping others to become more sustainable and thoughtful in their clothing choices.
