Lauren Block founded Hey Gang in 2018 with the goal of producing timeless, practical apparel that is manufactured responsibly for all. A year after her first daughter was born, Block was inspired to design children's clothing that had a playful personality while still emphasizing practicality and mobility. When she soon discovered that she wanted the same clothes for herself, she started her own clothing line for women. Heritage nostalgia and vintage Americana fashion, music, and film serve as the brand's main sources of inspiration.
