Tantuvi
Designer Arati Rao established Tantuvi in 2016 after traveling through India and reconnecting with her ancestral roots and traditions. Tantuvi, which means weaver in Sanskrit, works with Ikat weavers in South India and co-operatives to stay true to their traditions of hand spun, dyed, and woven cottons and silks.They are committed to supporting weavers who use these centuries old looms and techniques in order to conserve this culture and delicate community.
