Hand-dyed in Arimatsu, Japan, using the boushi somewake shibori technique, in which sections of the cashmere knit are capped and bound before dyeing to create softly divided motifs against a deep blue ground. Founded by fifth-generation craftsman Hiroyuki Murase, Suzusan pairs this century-old resist-dyeing heritage with pure cashmere, so no two cushions are ever quite alike.
