Chimala

With lead designer Noriko Machida, Chimala was established in 2005 as a small-batch denim brand that finds inspiration in vintage military and workwear. Their designs have a unisex approach, with an oversized and worn-in utilitarian aesthetic. Machida’s talent and care shines through in every wrinkle, splatter, fray, and fade-spot on Chimala's clothing, each thoughtfully inspired by history. With vintage denim reworked, and hand painted and distressed details, each piece tells an incredible story.
