Designer Profile

Lindquist

Founded in 2020 by Lindy McDonough and Conor MacKean, Lindquist is a studio of artists and makers crafting vegetable-tanned leather goods by hand in Providence, Rhode Island. Guided by the Swedish idea of lagom, the perfect-simple balance of moderation, each piece is made to last generations, developing a richer patina with every year of use. Their designs pair vachetta for structure with milled leather for pebbled, lustrous warmth and texture, achieving architectural shapes without excess weight. Finished with durable hardware made in-house and a vibrant color palette in every collection, every Lindquist piece carries the mark of the artisans who made it.
