Maria Stanley established her own label in 2016 following her studies in fashion and more than a decade of experience working for various womens clothing companies in Los Angeles. Her "hopeless romantic" ideations served as inspiration as she beautifully combined her love of French pintuck elegance and Victorian negligees with an easygoing, modern California laid back style. Stanley, who is passionate in designing comfortable pieces that let women embrace their own beauty and sense of style, thinks it is crucial for women to be true to themselves and that one of the simplest ways for them to do so is through their choice of clothing.

When it comes to her creative endeavors, Maria Stanley is mostly focused on making clothes with a particular focus on developing collections that are long-lasting and environmentally conscious and meant to be enjoyed for years. Stanley, who is currently based in her home state of Minnesota, collaborates closely with her partners in Delhi, India, and Lima, Peru, to create carefully designed clothing that incorporates materials and techniques ingrained in the artisan traditions of each country.
