Michele Quan creates handcrafted ceramic art and objects for the home and garden, inviting peace, love, and remembrance. Her work includes a wide variety of ceramic art and objects from wall hangings to ceremonial vessels, each a canvas for her love of drawing, painting, text, and color. Rooted in the visual symbols of Buddhist iconography, her designs return to impermanence and interconnection, meanings she sees as universal. Handmade in New York by Michele and a small team of craftspeople, her hand-painted stoneware pieces are objects of contemplation, with a little rock n’ roll irreverence along the way.
