Designer Profile
Jesse Kamm
Launched in 2005, Jesse Kamm created a collection of effortless and beautifully simple yet durable clothing for women, inspired by utilitarian vintage styles that lasts season after season. Kamm was raised in a rural Illinois home surrounded by art and creativity for her entire upbringing, with her mother as a ceramicist and a potter, and her father having been a draftsman and a guitarist. Growing up with her parents as her role models, collecting and listening to vinyl records, and exploring an array of different art mediums, it practically assured her a life of creative endeavors.
The ball naturally started rolling when Kamm took a sewing class after graduating from college. She began producing clothing for herself, which attracted attention from people around her almost immediately. As her company has begun and grown over the past two decades, Kamm has remained at the forefront of almost all aspects of her brand. She is dedicated to using high-quality, durable textiles in her work so that each piece remains a staple in wearers closets for years, while ensuring the use of up to 70% reusable and recycled materials. Supporting local businesses and vendors is essential to Kamm, hence why all Jesse Kamm is made in Los Angeles.
