Designer Profile

Aloka

Rooted in connection and comfort, Aloka embraces the beauty of vintage textiles and reworks them to create heavy, soft quilts and pillows. Each repurposed piece is made from layers of Indian saris. The fabrics are softened and dyed in India, and then hand stitched into one-of-a-kind pieces in the brand's Atlanta studio.

The team is made up of a small group of artists and textile lovers embodying the "as is" mindset of vintage fabrics. Waste is minimized and scraps are used to add to and adorn the repurposed pieces.
